織田デザイン専門学校卒業後デザイン活動を開始。
癖のある独特な感性のもと、セレクトショップ『Loveless』『H.P.France』他の
ウィンドーディスプレーやパーソナルオーダーのシャンデリアなどを中心に手がけている。
天然素材や古い廃材などを使って、ほぼすべてに渡り手作業でカタチにしていきます。
“生命を失いかけたモノに新しい命を吹き込みたい”という彼女のクリエイションはロマンティックなのに毒のある「オトナコドモ」の世界。
その純粋で温もりのあるデザインは個性的で遊び心のある大人たちの心を引きつけてやまない。
Kim Songhe is a Korean national born in Tokyo on January 8th, 1982. After her graduation from Oda Design Institute in Tokyo, she got inspired to create art sculptures by using what some people may consider garbage or junk. Currently, her main work consists of designing shop window displays as well as her creation of original made-to-order chandeliers.
Most of her work is crafted by hand with natural materials and reusable wastes. She says that she wants to bring new life to objects that were almost dying. The mood and style of her work is very conceptual, chic, and romantic.
